Do You Have “Free Trial Classes” Available?2022-02-24T15:41:28+00:00

Sometimes, it isn’t easy to figure out what type of class you want your child to attend. What do we offer? Will your child even like our class? Because of those shared and understandable questions, we want to provide you with Free Trial Classes. 

You can use these ‘Free Trial Classes’ for multiple reasons. Whether your child already takes a class with us, you are not sure what class to put them into next. What about if you have never been to our home facility before, and you want your child to see how it would be? Yep, ‘Free Trial Classes’ are for you too! There are only a couple of exceptions you should pay attention to if you use our ‘Free Trial Classes.’

  • You can only do a ‘Free Trial Class’ for a class you haven’t attended before or have previously taken.
  • You can only do ‘Free Trial Classes’ for classes specifically for your grade. The exception to this is if your child is placed in a class above their grade level. 
  • We do not offer ‘Free Trial Camps’

Now that we know what the ‘Free Trial Classes’ are for let’s help your child get one!

Instructions to Apply for a ‘Free Trial Class’

  1. On our Home Website (www.acceleratekid.com), when you hover over Login on a desktop computer, you will see three options below. You would need to click the Parent Portal to get you to see all of our classes. If you are on the phone, you need to click ‘Login’ then click ‘Parent Portal’

2. Once clicked, the website will transport you to a new browser. This is called our ‘Customer Portal.’ You would want to scroll down and click the words Click to Begin.

3. You should now see our Home Screen of our Customer Portal. There is so much to do here; however, we are trying to get some ‘Free Trial Classes.’ So you would press Register.

4. Now, you want to press ‘Find A Class.’ You may see other icons possibly here like, Winter Camps, Summer Camps, Birthday Parties, etc… However, keep in mind that you can only get ‘Free Trial Class’ for classes. So now you would want to press Find A Class.

5. Now you are on our Classes Registration Page. You can see all of the classes we have available. On this page, it is a great idea to use our Filter option on the top to find the best class that would suit your child. However, this is not something mandatory for you to do. Click the class after finding the proper course you want your child to attend.

6. Now, your next screen may vary. This depends if you already have a child signed up with us. If you do, then you can skip to step #8. If you don’t, you will probably see a screen like the one below. You will need to sign up your child ( for FREE) into our system. So your next step would be to click Select Students.

7. The next screen will ask if you are a “Current Customer.” If you are, then you would click yes. You would sign back into your Account. If you are NOT a “Current Customer,” you would need to set up an account. How you would do that is simply pressing No, Create Account, and it will take you through the process of setting up your FREE ACCOUNT. After all that is done, go back to the class you wanted to sign up your child to attend.

8. Now, you are back to the ‘Class Details’ of the class you want to select for your child and you should see a button called, Request a Trial. You are going to want to click that button.

9. This is apart of the last process of receiving your ‘Free Trial Class’. You are going to see the student you are enrolling to the ‘Free Trial Class’. The second part is letting us know if there is anything we should be aware of pertaining to the student who you have registered? After this click to Add to Cart. Your next step is going to show your cart for your ‘Free Trial Class’ if there is something else withinside your cart there will be a price, however if it is only your free trial class, then you will Store a Card on File, and checkout.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CLASSES AND CAMPS?2016-02-12T03:46:12+00:00

Camps are a week long, 3-6 hours per day, to get expose to new technology, and offered during school breaks including winter (December), mid-winter (February), spring (April) and summer (June-August) break. Classes are throughout the year, 1-1.5 hours per week, and to learn in depth about technology with homework and projects.

Many of our classes require your child to bring a laptop. Be sure to review the laptop requirements and class perquisites listed on all course listings HERE to ensure your little creator is ready for the class/camp.

  1. Select “PROGRAMS” to see all class and camp curriculums. Be sure to read the requirements and prerequisites to ensure your little creator is ready for the course.
  2. Select “REGISTER” to begin registration. Utilize the registration page filters to navigate and preview open classes and camps.
  3. Select “LOGIN” if you have an account. Select “Create an Account” if you don’t and be sure to read and accept the rules, terms & conditions, billing authorization and waiver liability.
  4. Select “ENROLL NOW” to enroll in the program(s).

HOW ARE CLASSES AND CAMPS CHARGED?2018-08-28T18:14:00+00:00

Classes are charged monthly and camps are one-time charges. Check our website for monthly class tuition and camp pricing. Monthly class tuitions are pro-rated if the office is closed during the class session due to holidays and/or emergency. There is a deep discount for full payment of classes at registration.

DO YOU OFFER CAMP BEFORE/AFTER CARE?2016-03-25T14:56:52+00:00

Yes. It’s no question that being a parent is a full time job, weather your checks are signed by a company, yourself or your child(ren). We offer before and after care for all of our camps and the cost remains the same per week regardless of how many camps you have signed up for. Before care runs from 8:30am to 9:30am and after care runs from 4pm to 5pm. Cost is only $25/week/care type. Any additional hours needed is just $5/hour. No sign up is required and you can conveniently pay at the end of the camp week.

WHAT IS THE MAKE-UP POLICY FOR MISSED DAYS?2016-10-06T13:47:34+00:00

Due to our small 6:1 student-to-teacher class ratio, missed classes will not result in make-up classes, prorated tuition or refunds. We are a blended learning environment where students will be allowed to access our online lessons from home for the class session they missed. Students will need to complete the lessons prior to returning to class.

AccelerateKID cannot administer any medication to students. We request that either the parent is present to administer the medication or has properly instructed the child to do so independently.
